For registered families only. We do not offer drop-in child care for children who are not already part of our program.
A note about our fees.
SproutHouse Early Education operates as a privately run child care centre. At this time, new private centres are not eligible to participate in Alberta’s $15/day child care affordability program due to current provincial funding limitations. As a result, our fees reflect standard market rates with a $500/day discount for full-time families, and a $300/day discount for part-time families, to help alleviate the cost while we are hopeful about potentially joining the affordability program in the future.
We understand the importance of accessible and affordable child care for families. While we are not part of the affordability program at opening, we are actively monitoring policy changes and remain committed to pursuing any opportunity to access funding if it becomes available.
Operating privately allows us to make intentional decisions about how we invest in our program. This includes offering competitive wages to attract and retain experienced, qualified educators, maintaining high-quality materials and thoughtfully designed learning environments, and supporting ongoing professional development within our team.
Our goal is to provide a consistent, well-supported, and enriching experience for children and families, with a strong focus on quality care and meaningful early learning.
We view this as a temporary situation and are hopeful that future policy changes will allow private centres to participate in affordability initiatives. We will continue to explore all possible pathways to increase accessibility for families while maintaining the quality and integrity of our program.
