Located in southeast Calgary, SproutHouse is a welcoming early learning community where children are supported in becoming confident, capable, and engaged learners. Our approach is child-led and relationship-focused, creating space for each child to explore their ideas, ask questions, and express themselves in meaningful ways.

Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, our program follows an emergent, inquiry-based curriculum that grows from children’s natural interests and curiosities. Rather than directing learning through predetermined themes, our educators observe, listen, and collaborate with children to co-create experiences that are thoughtful, engaging, and responsive.

At SproutHouse, we see children as active participants in their learning. We encourage them to investigate, imagine, build, and problem-solve—supporting not only their cognitive development, but also their sense of identity, belonging, and agency. Through open-ended materials, carefully designed environments, and meaningful interactions, we aim to nurture creativity and a lifelong love of learning.
